Maverick Presentation Products has signed a UK distribution agreement with Luidia for its eBeam range of interactive whiteboard solutions bringing it within the reach of the broad reseller community in the UK for the first time.

Luidia’s eBeam is a fully featured interactive presentation system that converts any dry-wipe board or flat surface into an interactive whiteboard. It provides all the functionality of a traditional fixed-size interactive whiteboard, in any size up to 8' x 4' (240x120cm) for less than half the price of an equivalent-sized board.

Already well-known in education, Maverick is now looking to develop a wider potential market for the range, says Business Unit Manager at Maverick, Darren Sainsbury. “The eBeam solution is useful, practical, flexible and affordable presentation tool for all types of organisations. While there are still plenty of opportunities in the education sector, we also see good potential for the eBeam range in the corporate and SME markets.”

Commenting on behalf of Luidia, UK Sales Manager Andi Brabin, states: “We have worked very successfully with Maverick in the past and see this new agreement as an opportunity to spread the word about eBeam and open up new markets. As well as putting together an aggressive marketing campaign for the solutions, Maverick will be looking to bundle the eBeam range with leading projector brands and other audiovisual products to provide a complete value proposition that resellers can take to their customers.

Luidia’s eBeam range enables you to take complete control of the desktop from any board or flat surface. You can annotate over PowerPoint or any other application and also import, save and manipulate annotations and captured objects. You can also create dynamic content for increased interaction locally and through the internet to remote locations.
